Friend is low-key angry that she has to wait 2 more weeks for Garlemald, but we'll survive. Bugger that I have a Christmas 'Party' from my volunteering on new EA day though.

With the delay by two weeks, at least this gives me some much-needed time to get my alts completely done with ShB msq.

I've been really out of the loop the past few days. The news definitely took me by surprise. I guess everything is just getting delayed this year, though it's probably for the best with many games - considering things like Cyberpunk.

Cyberpunk delayed multiple times before it finally released. If you mistime your original planned release, you're so much more likely going to fall short and cut corners on any extensions just because there's that much more pressure to put out a product. Each expansion, this game expands outwards on the list of new game features and jobs. It's not really surprising that they're struggling to keep up.

Looks like it won't be a big problem for my work to reschedule my time off. Probably have to work Thanksgiving now, but that's ok. It's not the same without Mom anyway.

Also gives my derpy submarine more time to bring me a damaged icebox. 240 Surveillance should be past the 220 breakpoint... sub keeps getting C rank evals for the area the icebox comes from though... RNG gonna RNG, I guess? Harumph.

Got more time now to get further in my replay/let's play of FFXI. Probably a good thing. I've got like 13 more artifact armor quest sets to do, and still haven't gotten all of the jobs to 70 for the Maat x15, Raubahn, Qultada, PUP guy, Volcano Elemental, and Rune Shadow fights for the Genkai breaks...

Want to record the Avatar Primes, RoZ, and more of CoP(preferably all of it) prior to Endwalkers. That definitely wasn't going to happen with the original dates, but now... hmmm....

I'm just glad that it's a short delay. Though combined with Endwalker already having been pushed back, I'm definitely a little wary. I'm sure the expansion will be good and the trailer certainly didn't really show me any red flags...but 6.1 is going to be the true test, I think. Especially if the story is moving in a different direction from that point onwards.

I'm personally hoping that we get to be an adventurer again first and foremost.

Currently trying to discern if this like... metal fire hydrantesque thing is actually some sorta battered down magitek or something in that black orb'd hellscape from the launch trailer. Also waiting for shift to end with Missouri University band storming the breakfast bar again. Phew.
