Pumpkins are pretty fun to shoot as well. Don't quite blow up like in the videos unless you fill them with water. Still fun though.

It's the final stretch until Endwalker, and I have to say, I'm glad for it. Playing all these shooters from the last few months, has really reminded me why I stopped playing them in the first place. I also still cannot stand battle passes. Such a horrific business practice, especially for someone like me, who if I start it I have to finish it. I will literally never play the game again, if I don't finish it. I still have one game, with an unfinished battlepass, and I really don't want to do it. I think I'm glad that Battlefield got delayed, and I decided I would refund it. I would have really regretted that purchase. I'll just stick to the usual RPGs, etc. and FFXIV.
2022 will be a pretty full year when it comes to releases, but I'm really looking forward to having EW as a nice way of passing time inbetween releases. Finally having some new content. Though, I still should level up crafting one of these days, so I can actually decorate my house. I've been trying to save up gil to upgrade my small to a medium, but I'll just end up being a player with at least medium (hopefully), that can't even decorate it. I can't decorate my small, much less a bigger house. I always question if it's even worth holding onto a small, if I don't upgrade sooner or later. I'll probably just dump it, and never be able to get a house again. No way I'm ever winning some lottery, or wasting time at placards.![]()

I had a lot of fun decorating my house, though it took me a long time to find a way to do it that didn't make it look too cluttered or too empty. I also limited myself to furniture that fit the aesthetic I was going for, so every time a new patch comes around there's usually at least a couple of items I like that I end up adding to my manor. I also try to avoid having too many 'repeat' furnishings. The first thing I'll be doing in Endwalker is checking to see what new housing items have been added using the furniture preview system.
Both! They're just for show, but they rot within a few days unless you coat them in preservatives before hand. (We didn't, so they're mush now Q_Q)
But we scraped extra flesh out of the inside and boiled it down into a nice spread to fill up and bind with sugars and spices. Pumpkin pie, yum!
We could roasted the seeds too, but we did not.
@Fukuro - Those are some awesome pumpkins! I can't decide which one I like best. They're all goofy and charming.

After clogging the kitchen sink with pumpkin innards a few years back, I've been told it's a bad idea to try my hand at pumpkin carving ever again.![]()
I just scoop the guts out into a bowl, then dump it in the mulch bin afterwards. Sometimes we'll save the seeds to roast, sometimes we get lazy and don't bother.
Gonna risk it, but also gonna put the pic in a spoiler. Beware of actual people, unnamed because yeah! But is me and my girlie. (And another angle on our pumpkins, sorta)

We didn't get any of them lit up, because we wait too long and our candles burnt out. By the time we got up off our duffs and went to get more candles, they had filled up with white fuzzy fungus, so we let them go.

Yeah, I bet with Ishgard housing they'll add some nice fantasy or medieval themed items - which will be pretty cool, for people who want that kind of aesthetic. I've been really wanting to get to decorating it, but I've been putting it off ever since I won my house. My small is literally just filled with a bunch of stuff I've collected from various events, or chests from Bozja and stuff. It's pretty sad. I guess it's a better use of my house than my neighbor, who I haven't seen since they moved in, and haven't even really decorated their outside at all. I at least put some stuff out there. Maybe they've seriously decorated their interior, but I wouldn't know since there is no entry.I had a lot of fun decorating my house, though it took me a long time to find a way to do it that didn't make it look too cluttered or too empty. I won't just buy decor either, because I'll end up using all the gil I need to save up for a bigger house, and when I'm actively playing I already use too much of it on dyes or the like, for glamour. I kind of want to have this as a motivation for crafting and gathering. It's like when I was doing ARR beast tribes. I never bought the mounts (except for the direwolf) with moogle tomes, because I wanted that to be something I earned by actually finishing up the those beast tribes.
I'm also sort of worried about decorating my house, since apparently people say you need to use glitches or something to actually decorate them properly. It's something I'd rather not do, frankly. If I can't get my house 'right', I'll end up just frustrating myself really.

I don't think it's needed. I didn't use any and I'd like to think my house still looks good. If anything, I find the clipping through the use of glitches to be rather distracting. Then again, I usually prefer to operate within what is available through conventional means.
I'm the type of guy who plays the likes of Oblivion and Skyrim without mods.![]()
