Things are looking up for me at work though I do question whether or not my current bakery manager's been looking to get rid of me from his staff, and after one day I decided to go ahead and transfer to the new store. My guess is after I had finally snapped at a coworker who constantly gaslit and bullied us decorators that I finally had enough of the bull and had to put her in her place.

Favorite line from that day: "Why are you yelling at me?" "Because you deserve it!"

He's made offhand comments that 'oh, they direly need decorators at another store. I know you like slower stores and I know it's very rough for you here.' And the all-time favorite, 'I didn't tell them that you can bake too so I can protect you.' As if the past four years of quietly busting my ass and bending over backwards for him and the people there is lost on him. My new store I'm going to found out anyway that I can bake and mix when I figured out their oven on day one and pulled out their bread from the proofbox to keep it from overproofing.

Don't get me wrong, I care for the people at my current store and love 'em to death, though holy heck and a half do they have some serious issues.

Next week I'll be fully transferred to my new store. This hamster is on a new adventure!

best to ignore that poster because it's an alt that's doing nothing but try to start fights, his first few posts were all about hating on women and/or female avatars and deleting them afterwards
