Nice! I'm hoping it snows where I am soon. So far it's just been a lot of rain, though I don't mind - I prefer colder weather.

We only had two small groups of trick-or-treaters this year come up to our door to get candy. We've got waaaaay too much left over. Also, we searched high and low for bags of Nerds, and there were none to be had in our city.

I am the sad.

I spent 4 and half hours just to get to this point... it was pain. No wonder rimmed bells aren't normally made.
Some things I have found out the hard way:
-the rimmed half needs the outer edges to be a lot larger than the half sphere
>this also makes fixing any warping easier
-the rimmed half is more than likely going to be flatter or strangely shaped unless I really take my time
-you need to anneal the rimmed half way more than the cut out portion

I don't know if I'll do this again because it takes so long just to prepare it. I haven't even gotten to making the charm yet. I made it out of brass which too longer to cut out (an extra hour compared to copper)

I thought of illustrating about this but I am just out of energy

We were supposed to get snow here in Central Ohio but it never materialized. It got cold enough though!

Man... I like the cold; but, give me some time to adjust, Mother Nature! This 72º F one day, 29º F the next, is for the birds.

A lot of my friends reported the same thing. There were just not a lot of trick or treaters this year.

Thought it was because the owner was tired of keeping the site up, which makes sense. I guess that reason isn't newsworthy enough, but the pedo allegations were there from day 1.
