On the plus side, I found the horse and some summon wolf spirits.
On the other side, I found a teleport trap that sent me to a rusty-looking swamp, and on the way out I almost got murdered by a rotting dragon and had to run like hell.
So, a regular day in the Lands Between.

Never give up, never surrender!
You can find a rotten dog summon in the swamp place near where there's all these invisible sorcerer dudes that look like The Burger King mascot if he was an aged greek statue.
It can inflict Scarlet RotWhich is essentially this game's toxic, but way cooler and lore oriented.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore

A little gaming recommendation, probably overdue given that it's been a while since it was released: for those who haven't already, the Skyrim "Enderal" mod is more than excellent. A much darker Skyrim, with a very gripping, complex story and engaging companions, while retaining the immersive aspect of a world where you can explore every nook and cranny (minus the monotony).

RIP Mutsumi Inomata. Your artwork for Tales of and Dragon Quest series will be cherished for a long time, some of my favorite game franchises, and we will dearly miss you.
This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.

Kind of a random rant...
I currently live in a big city, which I really dislike, but not exactly the point here. There's a big bottle brush tree outside of the house I currently live in, and every spring we get bees visiting it, which has always made me very happy, as it is one of the few ways to connect with nature that I have where I live right now, and I just really find bees amazing and wonderful. Yesterday someone call the firefighters because apparently there were "too many bees in the way" or some sh*t and I don't know what they did to them. Today there were still a few visiting the tree, and I think they'll be fine... but it just made me really angry. I can only hope their hive is ok. They've never been a problem, but people can't handle a few bees visiting a tree in their street...
To play Devil's advocate, the person who called the Fire Brigade might have been allergic to bees or have small children etc. I've had to call environmental health before due to the amount of wasps that got into my flat during the summer.Kind of a random rant...

Yeah.. fair, it's just my mind usually goes to "call a local bee keeper" rather than the firefighters. But you're making a fair point. I'm still a bit upset about it tho. Bees don't know better. They deserve a chance.
