    Regarding FFXVI and the active time lore feature, a feature that allows players to pause anytime to get lore assistance regarding plot, characters, terms, etc, a quote from a polygon article:

    “I think it was May in 2019,” Yoshida remembers. “We brought together pretty much the main staff from all of the sections working on the game, and we read through the entire script all together. [...] And we found out that a lot of even the internal core staff were lost, they didn’t know what was going on! So we realized all of a sudden that we needed some way to support players that were going to feel this way as well. Because if we as devs are feeling it, players are definitely going to.”
    Good lord, their own devs didn't have a clue what was going on in the story. This is going to be XIII all over again with the codex entries. I really want to stay positive, but man, this is definitely a wait and see at this point.

    Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we used to get patch art covers as decorations for free before they were added to the shop? I have a loose memory of putting Stormblood art at my wall when I just got my FC room just cuz I didn't have anything else, and I definetly didn't get it from the shop.

    So I found out why one of our decorators called out today from work. Turns out sticking a few 2x4s underneath an F150 that's stuck in the mud and then be behind said truck to help push it is a VERY bad idea.

    2x4 board shot out from underneath the tire and fractured her shin as her uncle tried to drive the truck forward. I think next time she'll just call for a tow truck.
