Which gives me hope for some non-US release games Bahamut Lagoon, Terranigma... I'd go pretty feral for any of the Soul Blazer game trilogy to get remastered like that, tbh. I still need to get myself Actraiser, Mana, and Live A Live, too... so many games, so little money haha.

I'll say you need Live A Live, they gave the music an upgrade that still has that grab it had on the SNES so many years ago. I've already shown the updated Go! Go! Steel Titan! sung by the legendary Hironobu Kageyama, but the updated main theme is also one hell of a glorious thing.

I've never played it but yeah Terranigma was very popular. When I worked at a retro game store I struck a deal with a local Itsy business group who made physical reproduction of NES/SNES games.

The one rule I gave them was I would only accept games that were of official.releases that never had an official translated version. Terranigma was one such game that flew off the shelf within a day of me putting it in the glass.

The Legend of Dragoon finally being available on the PS5 makes me cautiously optimistic that we'll see some other classic PS1 and PS2 JRPG's added as well. I'd especially like to see Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics, Breath of Fire IV and Shadow Hearts to name but a handful.

Sadly they originally wanted to link it to the previous games, but the owner of the IP (a novelist) said no. Apparently the villain that time was supposed to be Mitochondrial Adam.

Japan got the psp remaster of Star Ocean 2 on ps4/ps5 I'm waiting for us now because it's the best title and at this point they're just withholding it for no reason. You gave us the First Departure version of Star Ocean 1, give us Second Evolution, SE.

...I'd also take the old Tales of titles, Eternia is my fave old Tales title, but I'd also like the ps3 titles available (Graces f, Xillia and Xillia 2) so I don't have to keep my ps3 hooked up to play 'em.

Dragon Quarter wasn't a bad game, it just wasn't a good Breath of Fire game.

Pretty much. Like how FF9 wasn't a bad game, but it was a bad Final Fantasy game (yes, this is a hill I will die on).

At this point I'd settle for a rerelease of Symphonia that isn't buggy, missing dialogue, and overall performing worse than the Gamecube release.
