Tonight I have felt the biggest sting any video game player can feel...my save file ended up corrupted and I lost over 50 hours of game time in an RPG. Worst part? It was the legendary Xenogears this happened with. I was almost done, almost done...

This is me when I was playing Ninja Gaiden Black and the 360 randomly shuts down, only to discover the hard drive died. I was so close to beating it too and it's by far the most difficult Ninja Gaiden of the series. This was 12 years ago and I never attempted since then.

The first time I played the original God of War (no, not Dad of War, the original back on PS2) on the highest difficulty, I got all the way to the final stage of the fight with Ares, started the minigame grappling with him for the sword....and the game locked. But the audio was still playing, so I just had Kratos and Ares grunting at each other while everything else was stuck.

I still count it as a win, though.

Really, you just have to look at your post history, scroll back to 24 hours earlier and see when your next post is after that time. It's a rolling total of (I think) 20 posts in the last 24 hours, so as one post gets older than that, you can make a new one.

Unfortunately, given some of the trolls that run rampant around here, it's kind of a necessary anti-spam measure. Otherwise we'd be buried under people just chain-posting nonsense.

Oh, one useful tip. If your post is too long for the character limit, you can get around it by editing the post. That way you can post the entire message without using up more of your daily limit.
