Finally...the last achievements for FF9. Currently grinding for the 10K enemies killed (it's harder than you think in a game where only 1-2 enemies on the field is the norm), and then after that I can beat the final boss and then do a 2nd playthrough to speedrun to the Excalibur II for the final achievement.
Good morning! My Dissidia Final Fantasy cup has arrived!
It features both Setro and Garland.

Petition to have the Garlean gunblade & armour added in the game:

It can never be used in the microwave, for the power the cup exudes would be too great.
This 10K enemies killed achievement is so boring that I've fallen asleep during it around 5 times now. There's a special spot in hell reserved for the guy who chose these achievements for FF9.
I literally don't even recall FF9 having achievements... is this a new thing or am I forgetting?
Also the Remaster version on PS4/PS5.
There's a number of QoL changes, but the achievements are also batshit insane. You know those minigames where you got the key items for getting them to top rank? You get an achievement for GETTING those key items. Meaning yes, the 1K Jump Rope item is an achievement. Luckily there's a script for that, but still...you can tell whoever set up the achievements has a massive disdain for the players.
Things like that make me glad I'm too lazy to be an achievement hunter.
