This 10K enemies killed achievement is so boring that I've fallen asleep during it around 5 times now. There's a special spot in hell reserved for the guy who chose these achievements for FF9.

Ah okay; I didn't play the steam version. Haven't played since the PS1 days; but will eventually pick it up for the switch (physical copies; ugh expensive)

There's a number of QoL changes, but the achievements are also batshit insane. You know those minigames where you got the key items for getting them to top rank? You get an achievement for GETTING those key items. Meaning yes, the 1K Jump Rope item is an achievement. Luckily there's a script for that, but still...you can tell whoever set up the achievements has a massive disdain for the players.

If it wasn't for me finding that script for the jump rope, I'd likely not have bothered with 100% achievements.

I'll be playing it on the switch eventually either; don't believe that has achievements. (FF8 didn't)
