Getting really tired of P8S, and seriously contemplating the idea of quitting raid until the Echo comes because of how horrible the first half of the fight is. First half is essentially an ultimate. Anybody fails any mechanic, they've likely caused a wipe. Combine that with the DPS check, and you have absolute frustration. Which is sad because the 2nd half of P8S is genuinely fun with a puzzle mechanic you can't even target the boss during. But that first half...it's not fun, it's frustrating, it's draining, it makes me question my sanity, bad enough to where I start freaking out and have near breakdowns when it shows up in Normal Raid roulette.

Can sympathize with you there. P4S's Part 2 after the gate battle pretty much got one static I had disbanded, and got me kicked out the second one I went to. Never managed to get Act 2 down because my memory was just so bad with the variations. Hic Svnt Leones doesn't sit well with me anymore.

I've got a few on my shelf but I've honestly never read them. (I know I know....mea culpa; I write fantasy as a hobby; I have my own full world I am developing and I've never read the Drizzt series. ) He's a dark elf too isn't he? All my Ciardi (dark elves) and Solundi (light elves) are bowing their heads in shame right now I'm sure.

For those of you who like rhythm and action games, one game combining the two genres was shadow dropped almost 2 days ago on PC and Xbox. It's called Hi-Fi RUSH. It looks like a really stylish and fun game, with animation and an atmosphere on par with cartoons from the 90s and 00s. They released a deeper look at the gameplay, and it doesn't penalize you for not moving with the beat in combat (outside of enemies attacking with it). Most surprisingly of all, it's from the makers of Evil Within.
