Whenever life gets hard, remember this, my friends:
Shoot for the moon.
Stab at the sun.
Smother the stars in everlasting darkness.
Space started this. Let's finish it.

Me waiting for Witch From Mercury to get darker.
Episode 5: *proceeds to start getting pretty damned dark*
Me: ...I did not foresee this so early.
People think Square's going to announce Parasite Eve 4...
I'll need ibuprofen if they do...
It's because of the name, Symbiogenesis. It means “the merging of two separate organisms to form a single new organism.” Since they've wanted to do another Parasite Eve game but can't because of the rights to the name, then it makes sense to reboot the original with a brand new name.

I'd be down for a remake. I hope to make a new busted weapon that one shots everything again.
I'll be honest, I want them to keep whatever they can without getting in trouble, and only change what is needed. If they can keep the majority of the story the same (New York City, Aya Brea, being from within trying to take over), I'll be mostly okay. Though I suspect with how things are these days, it'll likely be an ARPG on the lines of FF7R. Which...actually might work better for only controlling a single character.
If it's a reboot, that's fine. Seeing how Rings of Power went, copyright can totally screw over a piece of media. But please. Can we please pretend the 3rd Birthday didn't exist...? Please, Nomura?
That was written by Toriyama (FF13 trilogy), not Tokita, who wrote the original Parasite Eve game...as well as FF4 and Chrono Trigger.

Feels weird to be Au Ra again!
