Shipping still takes time, and it only gets worse the closer you get to the holidays. Better to order early and have it on time than to wait and not get it until after New Year's.

Well, while on my vacation and looking about the internet I realized we almost had a live-action Sailor Moon in the US that would've been mostly sing-a-longs. In the pilot episode Tuxedo Mask is still as useless as ever by getting exploded by Queen Beryl.

From the looks of things it would've been far more effort than it was worth to put into production.

At least finding that out was far more productive than testing that monstrosity I baked near the start of my vacation.

Tried out the new variant dungeon, and it made me happy, because it reflected some threads from a year or two ago where a bunch of folks in general put forth new dungeon ideas.

I want to try the savage version, but not enough of my friends are logging in to go with, and I don't wanna attempt more than normal alone.

Been hitting up FFXI really hard recently, too. Just finished all of the first 20 jobs Artifact quests (so 60 quests) as well as their respective Genkais. Can't do the last two jobs AFs yet, because theirs don't happen until level 99 because they came out after the Abyssea era. (Rune Fencer and Geomancer). I did do their Genkais though, and both were easier than I thought they'd be.

I've been playing this since it came out, semi-often during my off time from FFXIV, and I would say the match quality is about the same - at least unranked. It honestly feels like it always has been like that, although I have heard from ranked players saying the game overall has typically just ended up with one side stomping the other more than in the original. I do plan on effectively dropping it once this season pass is done though, all I wanted was the D.Va skin in the first place.

Makes me think of a solo version of XIV with a higher budget.
