:| Last time I said that, I got told "it's not the same, it'll ruin the taste"! So I'll stick to what the recipe says. If it's for the creamy\gooey texture, then yeah we can. But if it's there for flavour, then I'll stick to what the recipe wants it to taste like.

INGREDIENTS
FOR THE CRUST
1 1/2 c. Crushed Pretzels
5 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
FOR THE FILLING
2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1 (10 oz.) log goat cheese
3/4 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. pickle juice
3 large eggs
1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan
2 c. finely chopped pickles, divided
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp. finely chopped dill, plus more for garnish
2 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. onion powder
Freshly ground black pepper
Toasted bread, for serving

Unfortunately the recipe I had fished out from the drawer was from the 1960s, and they had somewhat different ingredients back then compared to now. Not to mention the recipe treated it as a normal savory cheesecake and was not served with bread.

It also called for mostly dry seasonings/parm cheese, which normally in some things are not entirely a good idea. It also interestingly enough called for a graham cracker crust instead of a pretzel crust.

I'm also mad at myself for spending money on expensive goat cheese too and wasting it on...that. Either way I'm not inflicting that kind of torture on myself ever again. Heck even the avocado bread recipe she had in the drawer sounds more appetizing.

God must have been looking out for me tonight, because if I hadn't been playing Overwatch 2 right when I was, and sitting up when I was, I would have probably been killed. received serious brain damage, or had my face destroyed. I won't get too into the details, because it's a long story, but what happened was, okay, I have a window right next to where I have my bed. It has an air conditioner in it (that I haven't taken out yet), with the bottom part of the window set above it. This window fell down while I was playing Overwatch 2, and landed HARD right where I rest my head. I'm literally talking ON my pillows. If I had been asleep, or just laying down right there, my head would have literally been smashed by this HEAVY - and I do mean HEAVY - window. Overwatch 2 literally saved my life.

I won't get too into the details, because it's a long story, but what happened was, okay, I have a window right next to where I have my bed. It has an air conditioner in it (that I haven't taken out yet), with the bottom part of the window set above it. This window fell down while I was playing Overwatch 2, and landed HARD right where I rest my head. I'm literally talking ON my pillows. If I had been asleep, or just laying down right there, my head would have literally been smashed by this HEAVY - and I do mean HEAVY - window. Overwatch 2 literally saved my life.

uhh... please move your bed away from fixtures :x Or at least keep them away from your person. Even if it's something innocuous as a painting, all it needs is a little gust of wind to get loose and drop.

Well, I kind of have a specific reason for having it like this. It's a lot to do with my room's layout, and, previously, this was a very convenient position with how I have my PC close to my bed. I will probably rearrange this soon though...
