Kind of bittersweet that I got the PvP mount for wins. I have no reason to do CC anymore until the next season.

So...I just moved to Balmung and then took a break to catch up on some TV series...but I logged in last night and it was a treat.
So I have more than enough money to basically buy my own mansion so I took a stroll around Uldah for housing and of course there isn't a single plot open for any size. I however can make do with living under a bridge ( Like a good troll...or bad...same thing really ) but I have a ton of housing stuff that my retainers just keep stealing for me so I'm in the market for a place to put it. So I decided to just get an apartment and sure enough even though are all taken. I figured I'd take a gander at a few apartments to get an idea for decorations. Now at this time I though a white named apartment meant it was open to the public and a grey meant invite or locked. However it just means that there is someone in the room.
So I walk in an apartment and apparently I walked into a very steamy moment where two women were in the room. There may have been mention of issues about swallowing and a deluge...
oh and I assume they were Futas...which is also neat.
So yeah I look around the place as they are confused I am in the room before departing before they can ask why I just barged in.
Man Balmung is fun...almost always something going on.
When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.
Tried out the demo to Live A Live today. Was reminded why I fell in love with this game...and why on the 2nd playthrough on, the choice for Successor for the Imperial China chapter is so hard to make.
The pupils you don't choose die. And with all 3 of the students growing to be better individuals, it means you're going to be emotionally devastated every time you make the choice again.
Also Star Ocean 6 release date given, and it looks so good! Plus Stranger of Paradise DLC announced!
That feeling when you want to play FFXIV, but there is nothing you want to do in it. I don't want to level crafters/gatherers (BORING), gold saucer just plain sucks, I don't have the money to freely dump on some cash shop glamour pieces right now, I don't want to fantasia, PvP (CC) needs the new season, and other stuff I probably don't want to do.
God this forum needs some new emojis.

I'm on the same boat. I could do some CC (only Rank 7 lol), but it's not really fun to me. Currently just doing Roulettes to level my last jobs and playing Tales of Symphonia while waiting for Queue. Got it in Steam Sale and while the battle system didn't age well, I still really love that game. Low-key hoping for a Remake that goes more in-depth with certain plot points (or an Abyss Remake).
I'm taking Lore way too seriously. And I'm not sorry about that.
I've just been playing other games. I wish there was more to do in FFXIV and that expansions launched with features that had more staying power. Having relic weapons to work on from the very start would be neat and I don't know why they won't outsource the work to make it a more efficient process to deal with the growing number of weapons required for each stage.
I played CC A LOT since it came out, got the series rewards, and kept playing on occasion to try and get wins for the mount. The FOMO and the rewards becoming more attainable, have made each season pretty much mandatory for me. I just found a couple easy classes and just played on those: white mage and dancer. Relatively enjoyable, though I don't see any reason to play cc much just on it's own, personally. I'd say if you can get yourself through it, you should get the armor set before the next season, well if you want it at least. I don't even use it, but the fomo made me get it.I'm on the same boat. I got CK3 during the steam sale, I was playing that a little earlier while afking in the gold saucer and checking back every 20 minutes, but, honestly, I'm kind of over it. I should have just got the schoolgirl outfit for my miqo'te from the mogstore. I also got Skyrim Anniversary on sale, but I really, really do not want to deal with all that mess right now. I was playing Pathfinder WOTR (400 hours) previously, nearly done with the game actually, but that game is fatiguing (very, very long game).
I'm waiting for relic weapons to even do any content, since I don't really want to deal with my garbage tier weapon. I still haven't done the new alliance raid, actually I got bored through the new storyline and still haven't finished the last series of quests (good thing I don't usually mind spoilers) either.I've just been playing other games. Exactly right, I appreciate the effort they made with trying to make CC more accessible, and it does have some staying power, but the rewards are absolutely lackluster. I didn't even bother with the wolf collars, because the weapons look awful, in my opinion. I'm just sitting on a stack of about 19k whatever currency, and I haven't bothered accepting more from the infinity rewards.
No reason to level classes either until the deep dungeon or whatever they are doing this expansion comes out. I'd just be wasting my time.
