FF7 Remake part 1's PC port was plagued with performance issues too. For whatever reason, SE has trouble with PC ports. Nier Automata didn't fare too well either.
I'm hoping this team's work with FF14 will help them optimize it as much as possible for PC.
I planned to quit after finishing the MSQ in 6.0. A friend paid a month's worth of sub so I'd join them, but it took a week for both of us to lose interest. I ended up compensating by gifting them $20 worth of games from the Steam sale since I felt guilty for accepting.
I guess I won't be active in these forums for much longer.
It's been difficult to convince myself to login and do anything. After months of not playing I thought I'd have gotten over the burnout of the treadmill. But just thinking about doing any of the pve content cycle reached a point it makes me groan. To top it all off they stripped away my favorite jobs off action flow I enjoyed. Now all I got is paladin... Which doesn't mean anything since the best part of paladin is using actions that you're not supposed to ever need to use thanks to how fights are designed.
On the plus side I'm going through my backlog of games really quickly.
It's more a Japan issue than SE issue. Maybe playing on a PC isn't popular there? Of course that would be just an excuse, but i suppose it is what it is until they feel like stepping up their game (heh).
Social media is seriously so exhausting, especially with how divisive everything is.
It feels like two sides of the most extreme are just in a perpetual shouting match and they engulf everything.
It also feels like it has only gotten worse and worse..
I find that even if I agree with the core issue with someone, I'll usually just get really irritated by them anyway because of how smug and condescending they are or how they act like everyone who doesn't agree 100% is like some walking incarnation of the most vile stereotype imaginable.
And so often they'll either lie or severely overexaggerate things to absurd levels completely unnecessarily and just remove any actual nuance.
There's so much embarrassing levels of people needing to touch some grass it's kinda scary at times, but there's so many of them ( because they're all online 24/7, their entire existence is online ).
So they just take over everything.
Dragon's Dogma is the one that appeals to me.
What do you mean, three?! Surely you don't think they're actually gonna HAVE three versions? The future is two versions plus two Season Passes, plus Dexit.
In all seriousness, Scarlet and Violet both + 2 Season Passes is gonna run the average gamer nearly 200 dollars! Sheesh, if Nintendo hasn't gotten more stereotypically corporate lately.

The days of complete games on release are long dead. Honestly, I just wish they'd give us a proper endgame for us long time collectors/players to have something challenging to do. Haven't had anything like that since Black/White with the Whitetree Hollow and Black Tower. The Battle Tower just doesn't quite scratch that itch.
Agreed. Black/White is honestly the last time I enjoyed a Pokemon game so much. No idea why they dialed back the philosophy for more Fairy Tail kiddie bullshit, but whatever I guess. Not terribly invested either way.All 3 starters. In all seriousness though I wouldn't complain with a 3rd title in that generation, but they've seen how profitable DLC has been so that is probably a pipe dream now. I'll actually be truthful, the last Pokemon game I enjoyed before Legends Arceus was XD: Gale of Darkness. That was the last Pokemon game I really enjoyed, because it spoiled me due to how good the story was and how much it shook up the normal Pokemon formula.
