Anybody thinking of buying Pokemon Scarlet or Violet when it comes out? I'm really liking all the memes for these games. Profm Chad and Weed Cat are my favorites! xD

I am, but I always buy Pokemon games on release. Mainline titles, anyway. I've got both pre-ordered at my local Gamestop. Everything I've seen so far looks pretty good. Pokemon Legends: Arceus gave me a good bit of hope in their future game design. I've been playing it since release back at the end of January pretty regularly. It was clearly a testing ground of sorts that went over pretty well with a lot of people, myself included. I love it.

LoA was the best game in the main franchise they've ever made in a long, long time! While I just saw that there may be a but of battle animation regression sadly due to the Pokemon in the trailer not actually making contact with eachother when attacking, Scarlet and Violet definitely seem to be going in the right direction when it comes to making good Pokemon games again.

Since you've preordered both titles, which one will you be playing first and which starter are you picking? :3

Planning to go preorder the double pack whenever I get around to going near Game Stop again. I don't expect it to be difficult to find in any case, but piece of mind and all.

True that. The games may go flying off the shelves without a preorder. xD I plan to do mine through amazon.

I'm leaning more toward Scarlet first, and I'll probably choose Fuecoco. There's just something about that little gator that appeals to me. I'll get all 3 easily enough, but that one will be my first starter.

I don't blame you for picking Fuecoco, he was initially my first pick too. He reminds me of Totodile and Gible with his happy dirpy face. xD

Scarlet has the caveman waifu as the professor. Did you know she actually has fangs when you do a close up of her face when she talks? I saw a youtube video of her last week that showed it. Made me like her instantly!

Also, the Scarlet legendary is really cool! Though its probably a fire/dragon type, I kind of hope it turns out to be part water type because of its webbed hands and feet.

I'll decide which version to play first once there's more details on differences. As for starters, probably Fuecoco. That will also depend on more info, namely what the evolved forms look like.

I got FF7R on PC but haven't played it yet, I really hope they release the second part on PC at the same time and don't delay it.
