*giggles*
At Target we mostly just got the Hot Wheels Guys. A group of three or four older men who were there almost every morning, went straight for the Hot Wheels, spent half an hour pawing through them and BSing, and rarely bought anything else. Then they'd do the same at the Walmart around the corner, then the other Target half a mile away. They used to frequent the Toys R Us, but those're gone in the US now.
That is kinda like the groups I get at my Tempe store. Only at my Tempe location do we also sell Legos...which is weird considering we are a retro game store. However these people come in at open and don't leave until we close...and they just sift through those legos all day. It got to a point I was able to eventually just tune out the noise. Now I mostly work the PHX location so I don't have to mess with that.At Target we mostly just got the Hot Wheels Guys. Now I get to mess with the crackheads. Joy.
When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.
Welp, I used another Fantasia... Now I see what people when they talk of a lack of unfitting healer glamours. Sure, robes can be masculine - heck my new BLM outfit is a gown now - but... ugh. I just want one waistcoat. One pant suit.
FINALLY we gonna renovate so we can pull an Ethernet cable...
My wifi isn't rly that bad tbh it's better than what a lot of people get from a wired connection lol.
But the instability is still a thing which really hurts in fighting games especially.
Tbh I always feel the opposite in most games.
Masculine stuff is just treated as the default, especially in Western games it always feels like they design stuff for male characters first then copy paste it.
Rly annoying too when you ask for feminine options and people jump to the most ridiculous extremes, EVERY time.
I had huge arguments with people about Baldurs Gate 3 because of this, even tho I went out of my way to specify a billion times that I wasn't talking about Tera armor I was talking about feminine clothing that fits the setting ( for example feminine nobility clothes just like how you got the masculine equivelant from Astarion ).
But dear lawd it went in one ear and out the next and people kept going after me saying that I wanted Tera armor I dunno what it is with people ALWAYS having to jump to the most extreme.
Likely unintentional but Flow reminds me a lot of Hikari by ELISA. When I first heard Flow I got the same feeling as when I forget a word but it's on the tip of my tongue.
Edit to add, I highly recommend Nabari no Ou for anyone who's into anime. Very underrated, one of the few anime that I'll go back to again and again because it tackles some pretty heavy topics (depression, sewerslidal ideation) while remaining generally lighthearted. It was serialized by Square Enix which imho has a habit of picking up some great anime and manga (FMA, Soul Eater, Durarara!!, for some examples)
Every time I think about recommending anime now my brain jumps first to 91 Days and then to Blue Gender.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
Anyone remember the anime Elfen Lied? It's pretty brutal, but I first saw it back in like, 2004 or 2005. (Maybe 2006?) I love that series so much. I'm a big Attack on Titan fan these days, but Elfen Lied was kind of my first love. Not sure if they ever did a follow up to that show, or some OVAs, but it remains my second favorite anime of all time. (The first being Robotech: The Macross Saga.)
Back when I was getting into Anime, everyone would be talkring about Elfenlied, but I never really watched it.
I can recommend Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and Bungo Stray Dogs.
I'm taking Lore way too seriously. And I'm not sorry about that.
Claymore is rly underrated imo, sadly it didn't do well when it first aired it just went under peoples radar until later.
The male protagonist is insanely annoying and his voice actor makes it worse tho, but overall I think it's good ( no clue about Eng dub but it didn't sound great to me from what I heard ).
It also didn't get an actual ending they ran out of source material it kinda just ends.
Anime is kinda all over the place in general.
Imo I had a hard time taking AoT seriously because of how the drama is tuned up to 9999% to a point where it became comedic and I thought it tried a bit too hard to be '' deep '' ( the edge later on was a bit much for me ).
I watched Demon Slayer quite recently too and it's incredible in terms of animation but it has the same issue a lot of other show has of endless monologues and the same repeated sappy flashbacks and people pulling powers out their ass to win the day.
I still prefer it a lot more over Western animation, especially the creativity I dunno why Western animators don't take advantage of it more.
Animation that tries too much to immitate life is usually boring imo and a bit of a waste of the media it just works better when it's exaggerated.
But there's still certain tropes like the monologues and annoying side characters that makes it hard to watch sometimes.
