I am happy I don't live somewhere with stuff like huge tornados and earthquakes.
That shit is scary as hell.

We had a tornado go through about 2 years ago now. Tore my old middle school apart, most of the houses/private practices across the street from it too.
Scariest part is it ripped up a lot of houses right on the street we used to live on. We'd moved further downtown about 2-3 years before those tornados went through. If we hadn't moved, we might have died (or at least lost most everything we own). Messes me up to think about, honestly.

Tomb Raider, Deus Ex all going in the name of NFT. :P Ohh SE.. never change. It's been a real mess outside of XIV, and even then I have the scary feeling that they'll treat XIV like they treated Deus Ex and Tomb Raider.. successful, but not successful enough for them.

FF XIV is their cash cow, so I don't see them dropping it in the foreseeable future. If it starts becoming less profitable though...I guess we'll have to see what happens.https://www.hd.square-enix.com/eng/n...elease_fin.pdf just to add

If they haven't dropped support for 11, which is pretty much a dead game (with a consistent and dedicated remaining playerbase, mind), they won't drop support for 14, either. They haven't even dropped support for Dragon Quest 10 yet.
You bring up a good point! SE's current direction lately just makes me a bit paranoid, I think. Nothing is immune to greed after all, and SE has been on a trend of flops and monetization with their other titles. While I can't see them dropping support I can see them sucking the life out of the game.

Just the other night it was doing it again, and I was completely fed up. I eventually told them I wanted to speak with a supervisor about the whole thing. Somehow, the internet has worked since then.
