I have already accepted that I own nothing when it comes to "game launchers". Just save your username/pw somewhere and just accept that launchers and online drm is the new normal. :/
I didn't choose the peasant life, the peasant life chose me. :'(

I had no idea lel, totally forgot.
Then I install and launch it and I have to launch it through the Epic Games store <_<.
Gooby plz, can we not have a billion launchers?
I installed it on Origin and can't launch it from Origin it forces me to open and launch through Epic Games.
UUUUUUUUUGH, STOP WITH THESE COUNTLESS LAUNCHERS JUST LET ME HAVE IT ALL ON ONE.
And I wanted to just add it on Steam as a '' non-Steam game '', I don't even want to think about the complete clusterfuck that'd be.
I didn't choose the peasant life, the peasant life chose me. :'(

Sometimes I regret thinking a couple pots of dragonfruit with just a minor slice of its flesh being planted was a good idea.
I tried to carefully transplant one of the pots and separate all the little seedlings into smaller, more manageable pots. In the Florida early noon heat. While in the sun. For a couple hours. And train-truss most of them.
I think I'll leave the other pot alone for now until I recover from this one, as for some reason they're train-trussing themselves upward.
This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.
Spent my night looking for a local supplier of Magnolia Bachi sticks for my Taiko, ugh. In the end I had to order from Japan and pay $50 Fedex for 2 short wooden sticks. International freight can be stupid prices.
I have the most amazing dragon fruit in my fridge ready for eating tomorrow. I love them.
やはり、お前は……笑顔が……イイ

I know! I actually got my seeds from a couple dragonfruit I bought at the grocery store. Same thing with the mango seedling that's also growing in one of my pots. Granted it'll take about 5 years to reach fruit maturity, but I'm excited they're doing well.

I genuinely hate the loot system in FFXIV and just in general in MMO's, I much prefer personal loot ( without bs RNG stats ).
Rolling 1-40 ( 35-40 is HIGH for me ) on everything I need week after week is horrible it's not fun at all, and it's also not fun to lose a weapon you'd use for an alt Job in P4S and then you go and look at the person who won it and they don't even have the Job leveled up...
You shouldn't even be able to roll on the weapons if you don't have the Job leveled up imho.
It's just complete ass that people can do that.
I do understand why people greed because you don't know if everyone else is going to pass or greed for stuff they don't need too, it's just frustrating.
8 Weeks is far too long too for a weapon imo, and 7 weeks is too long for a tomestone especially when you already have the token for the 600 upgrade.
It's not really just FFXIV tho it's just something I hate in MMO's, I don't think that winning gear should feel like a relief.
It's especially bad tho in FFXIV imo because you can play all Jobs on one character, so you have really harsh timegates and lockouts on even just one Job unless you get REALLY lucky.
I didn't like it in Diablo 2 either, Diablo 3 had issues with crazy RNG min-maxing but I still prefer actually just having your personal loot drop.
They could still timegate it too by only letting you take X amount of loot per week.
At least it wouldn't be excessive RNG.
Had a goofy experience as an invader in Elden Ring.
Was doing a couple of invasions in Liurnia as part of a quest and managed to invade the same host twice. First time I invaded, there was a co-invader being hounded by a blue hunter. Naturally I team up with the other invader and we smack him out of existence. Then it turned out the host had used a taunter's tongue to lure out invaders and used their horse to jump to a spot unreachable on foot. So I canceled the invasion and left while my co-invader sunk to their knees in despair.
The second invasion was infinitely funnier than the first. So I load in, see I've invaded the same guy again and sigh. In the distance I see a blue hunter running towards me in a hurry and decide I'll just let him kill me. So I turn my back to him, offering a free backstab opportunity. He just bows at me and stares in confusion because I didn't bow back. So I start lightly jogging towards him saying "hit me, come on do it already". Dude runs away and rolls like 8 or 9 times before finally plucking up the courage to swing and kill me in 2-3 hits.
Don't think I've ever seen another player so thoroughly intimidated by my antics before lmao.

I did the invasions for Varre's questline, and on my first one, the host and his partner both looked at me and shot me with the Frenzy Eye Lasers. I didn't have a chance lol.Had a goofy experience as an invader in Elden Ring.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore

When I invaded for the questline to get that mark for easy access to the rune farm bird cliff, I tended to just wait for the Host to find me, no weapons out, and when they approach I drop a bar of soap and step back and do the fetal position emote.
Sometimes they just kill me instantly with Rivers of Blood or w/e the new OP flavor of the week build is.
Sometimes, though, I see the visible confusion as they approach, pick up my soap, and just stand there like they're trying to process what just happened. I imagine me immediately bolting for the nearest high place to fling myself from only adds to the confusion, lmao.
It's good fun. I hate invading, but I at least try to make it a funny encounter when I do.
So I went to check back on PSO2: NG the other day, the game I quit for XIV. Man, I know we say FF is dying a lot of the times, but at least we don't have this:
Yup, that is gacha. Yup, that is "buy gacha for a chance to increase the chest slider". And this is a bonus item that you get for whaling a crapton of the gacha.
Oh Sega, how far you've fallen once again, unsurprisingly of course lol.
Since I haven't posted anything I've taken on my phone for a while, here's one I took the other day:
