I was devastated to hear the news. I've been a fan of Berserk since the '97 anime. RIP Miura.

Super bad news
Two weeks ago (though they're only announcing it now) the author of Berserk died from his heart exploding. Ruptured Aorta, age 54.

I'm pretty shaken by the news, though... if there was a way this author would go, an exploding heart is ON THEME!
I'm glad his death was metal as hell, even if it's so sad...

OH! RIP, man... Ive never seen berserk but Ive only ever heard good stuff about it, its always a sad event when someone whos produced something so loved dies.

Its weirdly satisfying giving away so much... I just logged off of the game after giving away about 5mil worth of bardings, minions, mounts, glams, weapons, and gil. And ill do it again! Tomorrow! In ul’dah!

Because sometimes I just get carried away lol. Ill probably do it on smaller scales every week, this week was just... wild ahah.

I'm very excited that the patch is tuesday! Since it didn't take too long we won't have to wait too long to have more content!

But at the same time... we'll have a really long content drought! I really hope zadnor is good enough as content, to tide us over all of this time! I like how after max rank there we will be able to get more power, making us spend more time there, and making delubrum reginae savage easier since we'll be stronger. I still want to get the cerberus mount!

I also really hope that the final step of the relic looks amazing! If it does, I'll spend a lot of time making relics for my jobs!

Maybe the drought will be so intense that I'll have to play other games... I haven't done that in a good while. I still want to play nier replicant + automata, and I really want to play the mass effect trilogy as well!

My hyper fixations typically last years (and never really go away, they just linger in the background). Yeah, I'm like that as well, I get what you mean. I had an interest in The Sims that lasted the longest... many many years, then it changed to neopets, that lasted 2 years I think. Now since I started playing FFXIV in 2018 It's become my main interest, I live and breathe this game... I always find something to do, even when there is a drought. Sometimes I think I should do other stuff, like watching more series or anime, or playing other games, but this game always pulls me in, I find it more entretaining than other stuff.

I've been playing for years, and I still have a lot of content I could do. Like high end PvE, PvP, BLU, crafting, housing.... etc.. I don't think you'll have a problem running out of things to do. I am pretty fickle, and just get bored of content, don't really finish what I start a lot of the time. So it takes me years to do a lot of things in this game. Plus I am prone to burn out.
