I can already see myself spending a lot of money on skins in lost ark. The sorceress sets are so far hideous, even the tier 3 stuff in it. Much like in FF the only thing I am really interested in are aesthetics, I don't pay to 'win' at a game, rather I pay to win the glamour endgame. Even in ESO the bulk (entirety) of my cash shop purchases were outfits, hair, etc. or the occasional lootbox in the pursuit of that.

Star Wars Obi-Wan show announced.
I have a bit mixed thoughts, on the one hand screw Disney and I am just really exhausted by Star Wars.
On the other hand, Ewan McGregor was easily my favorite part of the prequels.
He was perfectly cast I really can't think of anyone that would even be on the table as a possible replacement.
He's really charismatic too as Obi-Wan probably my second favorite character after Luke.

So I might watch it just to see him as Obi-Wan again.

Beat Malenia, Blade of Miquella yesterday early in the morning. Way less attempts than I thought. Praise be to Mimic Ash and good thinking on my part.

I've turtling my way through with a great shield, and you can't do that on Malenia. I opted to upgrade my Flamberge to +24 and cold ash replica on it.

Cold procs annihilated her, as well as all the stance breaking from dual wield great swords.

Then, at the end, the bleed from Flamberge finally proc'd and was a sudden kill that surprised me.

Every scene I see of this game has been meme worthy , whether it's intentional or not either way it's hilarious and I'll probably play it.

My general mentality of playing mmos has really been good for a game like Lost Ark. Generally, not caring about pushing PvE content, and just liking to play them "casually". It seems to me that Amazon is gauging player progression and how much 'pay to win' they can get away with in that game.

I mean, that isn't to say I'm not comfortably in tier 3, becoming future proofed with alts, and tons of side content done or being done. You can always spot the whales in that game, who have a high ilvl, but low other stats like their roster and everything else. I digress.

Elden Ring keeps handing me so many cool/powerful weapons, and here I am on my silly little Confessor still using the grave scythe because I like how it looks.

Oh well, least I can mule some of these things to alt characters. Eventually.
