I've already decided, if they do female Hrothgar right, I'll buy a fantasia to turn my tiny Miqo'te into a Hrothgar.
New WoW expansion going to be revealed in April.
Will be interesting to see how many of the WoW players who hate the game now will suddenly turn around and get ultra hype because of the fancy CG trailer lol.
I was kinda confused about the world first race, Anduin was already a boss people have killed I thought the whole raid was out already.
It just seems like such a short gap, not sure how it works in WoW exactly.
Like why is Anduin already a boss you can fight but not the Jailer?
Do they release half the raid or something and then the full one week later it just seems weird to me.
I am definitely curious to see how it ends tho, I mean I am not curious in a positive sense I guess lol.
I am just curious to see how the trainwreck will end.
They decided to release parts of the raid over the span of a couple of weeks. All but the final 3 bosses were available to start. Starting this week all bosses will be available for normal, heroic and mythic difficulty will open up as well. Not sure why they did it this way, but they did. Either way I'm not taking part. lol Gonna keep an eye on that expansion announcement, sure, but my expectations for WoW could not be any lower than they are now.

They've been doing time-gated raid releases like that since the Sunwell back in TBC. They say it's to keep the raiders from just burning through it all and then complaining that there's nothing to do.
Suppose it beats the Vanilla method of releasing raids with bosses that are blatantly bugged or unfinished and pretending it was totally supposed to be that way no really guys we swear.
Yeah. It just makes even less sense now to me, given the state of the game. They've been doing time-gated raid releases like that since the Sunwell back in TBC. They say it's to keep the raiders from just burning through it all and then complaining that there's nothing to do.

I am watching Mikepreachwow cast the world first race tomorrow I think it is.
Used to watch him back when I played WoW and then I started watching again when he got into FFXIV and started ARR.
Pretty interesting to see how judgemental he was at the start and now he's basically a big fanboy.
Maybe it's just because of how big of a deal WoW was to me as a kid, but there sorta is part of me that is nostalgic towards it and wants to watch it for that reason too if I am a bit honest with myself.
I did enjoy Classic a lot too, didn't play TBC Classic but I got a Priest to 60 in Vanilla Classic.
Blizzard nowadays just has the same issue a lot of other Western devs studios have which is that I don't feel good supporting them.
Both because of the big controversies but also because of how the devs behave online, it's pretty easy to put me off of supporting a game and studio by devs behaving poorly and it being allowed.
Sadly it's VERY common it seems and I just don't wanna support assholes.
But yeah I'd be lying if I said there wasn't part of me that still kinda wants to at least watch the WoW stuff because of nostalgia.
There's still a lot of characters in WoW that are pretty important to me and I've been a big fan of since I was a kid way back in the old Warcraft games.
To be fair, I'm excited xD
I no longer raid in WoW, so for me it would purely be a story/lore/content casual experience.
You can experience most all of that in just a month's worth for 14.99, while the rest is just LFG crapfest.
Was about to install Lost Ark again, then I see the new login screen and it's a censored version of a Gunslinger skin.
You can quite literally see the original skin clip through it because they've just painted the entire body from neck down to cover all skin rofl.
It's basically a leotard bottom with thigh-high stockings and some cleavage, in the censored version you can see the leotard bottom and stockings clip on top of the '' pants '' they edited in and the chest area is very clearly and awkwardly painted over.
The most frustrating thing too is that there even is a version of the skin with pants that they've used before in the marketing and is in the armor preview AND in the store currently.
But instead they decide that it'd be a good idea to take the more revealing version and go out of their way to lazily censor it and just apply a black bodysuit texture to the model they use.
I have no idea how AGS can be so totally incompetent and tone deaf, after all the anger about this they still do it.
Like it's actually just stupid and so unnecessary if they had a problem for some reason with the original as a login screen then USE ANOTHER VERSION OF IT OR ANOTHER SKIN ENTIRELY OMFG WHY DOES THIS NEED TO BE EXPLAINED TO THEM?
I am just at a total loss for words, like I know it doesn't matter to some people but it really puts me off and makes me distrust their handling of the game.
Just so tired of it, holy hell can't have anything fun ever with Western devs I hate how stuff I like has to be a constant source of headaches.
Ugh...
Think imma go and finally play the FF7 Remake instead...
It actually looks really really good imo, I never played the original tho I am not actually a FF fan or anything.
Only FF game I've played before FFXIV was FF Lightning Returns xD.
I think I just didn't find the gameplay appealing when I was younger but nowadays I really enjoy that type of gameplay.
Which way western devs?
Just a fair warning - the FF7 ReMakester is great!! But Nomura has taken liberty with the story, and it is not a 1:1 redo of the original FF7 story. I had a friend get upset because they had people marketting it to them as a way to experience the FF7 story in fresh hi-def graphics, only to realize it isn't the same exact story as the original.Think imma go and finally play the FF7 Remake instead...

Still very worth it, but just be forewarned about that!
