Have you guys had random lag issues?

I've been putting Savage off at the start and hopped into it this weekend, spent time with a blind group in second one and we got to the last phase and ofc my *insert a ton of curse words here* game starts lagging like crazy with people teleporting and the game just freezing for like 30 sec + everything just feeling unresponsive.

I get so angry about this...
Because it has nothing to do with me and my ability it's just a bunch of technical bs making it unplayable and it impacts the other people in the group too...
I really want to join a static but I just feel like I can't because I dunno when the connection is just going to decide that it doesn't want me to play anymore.
It's infuriating as hell and it's mostly an issue with FFXIV I don't rly get this in other online games I play.

Feel all sorts of out of sorts recently. Some people I'd been talking to have gone silent on me, my GF is still upset that I spent more time with my brother during the holidays than with her (it's the only time I see him all year, and they don't get along, despite all attempts at having them get along). So I literally have to give one a day, then the other. Leaned on my brother, because GF is more patient than he is, but her dander is still quite up.

Savage raiding is going decently. Tome weapons only cost 500 this time around! Setup to get mine next week, I think. Got Casting Hands and i600 Augmented ring so far. Group has some good going for it. Our schedule this tier is a little wonky.

Have had a lot of passive aggression and even some open hostility from folks from Famfrit in the normal mode raids and roulettes recently too. Not sure what's up with that.

But outside of my crumby social woes, I've been replaying Grandia on the HD Switch collection. It's been a charming treat. I actually never finished the first one, only having beaten the second about half a dozen times. Determined to finish the first one this time. I just destroyed the Typhoon Tower after falling off The End of the World. Fun!

There weren't any queues for me either around the normal prime time today either. I saw my brother logging in and out between his alt rapidly!

It was only around 50 people for me yesterday evening. Compared to 2700 last week.

Yesterday a guild mate had a 500 ish queue on prime time. But this is acceptable IMHO. On Shiva we had 8000 ish queues at EW release. I waited 4 hours. It is interesting. Maybe they have optimized something in their server infrastructure and the queues are lower now.

For FFXIV is rather normal to get drops of active players as they complete current MSQ, some will come back as SE release more content others will just wait till next expansion release. Nothing wrong with that.
