I think special customization expansion is a victim of Covid. Japan, in general, had a much harder time with the transition to working at home than most countries had, and if I were in Yoshi-P’s position, focusing on the content most players enjoy verses the niche things is how I would’ve done it, too. But, I don’t like the fact it seems like it was a cancelled feature, unlike, say, the delayed Thordan Ultimate.
My dream is for Hrothgirls to become available now that Viera exist, but I can’t even play Viera without intense annoyance at how small their hair pool is verses every other female character option, and it feels inevitable that Hrothgirl’s will have it worse since they borked up the guys from the start. Also, personally, I see more Hrothgar players on average than male Lalafell (at least judging by male exclusive glamour).
Do you think, at this point, the general playerbase would be fine if Viera and Hrothgar got a couple of exclusive hairstyles in a patch instead of everyone else getting one or two new options?
