Viera and Hrothgar Megathread

I hope they eventually add the remaining hairstyles for viera... I never cared about hats so that doesn't bother me. Also, I think now every new hairstyle they introduce will be compatible with viera by default.

Can anyone guide me how to get new Viera hairstyles introduced in 6.0?

"Scanning for Style" and "Battle-ready Bobs" can be obtainable from either the Tower at Paradigm's Breach from the last loot roll; or can be bought off the market board (This is the 9S and 2B hairstyles)

"Ponytails" can be obtained from the Gold Saucer, I think for a few thousand MGP, 8k if I remember correctly, don't really know for sure.

"Pulse" is obtainable from the Mogstation from buying either the Lightning Attire or Snow Attire. If you gender change with fantasia, the hairstyle changes depending on male or female.

"Controlled Chaos" is obtainable from Ishgard Restoration, or you can just buy it off the market board.

No, we're definitely getting more hairs in 6.1. I just hope they look into the fantasia issue...or Im raising hell if its not addressed....

The fantasia issue is what I was assuming the person I was responding to was talking about. lol But yeah, they SAID Hrothgar would get new hairstyles around then, but I'm still keeping my expectations low. I want to play Hrothgar, but not with how little they have to offer.

I hope by "new hairstyles" they mean actually new hairstyles [my pipe dream is someday they add that rejected 'Sokka' hair] but to have the current ones unlocked to the other faces is still quite the step forward, specially if the fantasia fiasco is being revised.

Me too. I hope it will be Hrothgar-only hairstyles since so many hairstyles that are available for the other races will clash with the Hrothgar's head I think. A lot of them already don't look good on males, especially Roegadyn and Highlanders

I think it's best for everyone to keep their expectations in check on this one. Hrothgar's hair nonsense is even tied to their face features options, they literally made Middies pay $10 for a single new face to have stubble as default.
I legit have no clue how they're gonna address this, and the only solutions I can stitch together in my mind would be hilariously on brand for their handling of these races. (As in "Make a brand new Hrothgar head that's shaped in a way that allows it to use shared hairstyles in its fur pattern tab". I'm interested in seeing what they do, cause that seems like something they would do at this point)
