Did they say only 6 hairstyles for females? That is not enough. And why those?

I don't think they specifically said it would only be those 6 hairstyles.

But considering the few they showed and mentioning the 2b hair being "fairly high on the priority list" the implication is that it isn't actually "fixed" in the sense that we're getting almost everything and there will still be restrictions, which is massively disappointing...

Good for male Viera for having no restrictions, but they really didn't need to test the waters with Hrothgar and female Viera to figure out what a stupid idea it is to design races the way they did with these two.

If six hairstyles is really the best they can do for female Viera then I have big doubts they're actually able to remove the fantasia requirement for Hrothgar and not just adding more to the pile.

But I'm extra salty because none of the 6 they showed I particularly cared for (seriously, no Great Lengths?), so hopefully I'm wrong.

Looks like it, but the hairband seems to be missing from Battle Ready Bobs. At least on top where the ears go, it appears to still be there on the sides.

He just said that one was fairly high priority when he showed the image.

Well it fits with the approach to the rest of their hairstyles. I've been saying for ages: it makes no sense at all that the Viera-specific hairstyles seem to pay no attention to their ear placement. Most have a strong parting line that sends the hair sideways through the ears instead of swept back between them.

It does, I just thought if they added this one they'd remove the hairband entirely.

It appears to only be gone on top where the ears are but magically still there on the sides, but it could just be the image/angle.

I agree. Great Lengths is so FFXII viera styled it’s the only one I’m interested in… so far they’ve only shown off short haircuts & it’s making me nervous.

Perhaps they implemented the short hair first because it’s easier, then they’ll progress to the harder ones? Not sure if that’s how it works but that’s where my mind went.

Well, I'm gonna wait and see what else, if anything, has been changed before I decide if I want to swap back. No sense blowing ten bucks just to get annoyed and do it again.
