Also, during your 1 minute Patience buff, you can have (so far, I'm only a 42 Fisher) 2-3 cast attempts, depending on how long you get a bite each time. That's 200 GP for Patience, and 50 each per Hookset. So, while you you do regen some GP during fishing, it's good to have about 330 GP or so, just in case you can get in a third Hookset. You will regen enough after the first two that if you have enough time you will have enough for your third.


Also, your timer means you have that much time to Cast, not to Hookset. Meaning, if you can Cast while there is still time on the Patience buff, even if it runs out after your Cast, you will still have your buff until your next Hookset. Or you accidentally move or something and auto-put your pole away like I have done a few times.
