Minimalist Mount Suggestion: Hermes Shoes

As fun and cool the mounts are in the game, sometimes less is better and cooler looking.

Imagine looking like a true warrior of light, floating and flying with ease with seemingly no help whatsoever.

Best of all, it doesn\\'t need much assests since you can use the ones you can see in the ARR cutscenes when you meet the crystal mother. maybe have the ability to toggle the light show on or off while you\\'re at it.

Since Endwalker is based on the moon it can also fit thematically and can be a moon dungeon mount reward.

Actually, there is already an item called 'Hermes' Shoes' in the game - it was old 1.0 gear that was just footwear and not a mount, or is even winged, in ARR it just boosts the length of the Sprint effect when in cities (in 1.0 it increased your movement speed by default). It is now completely unattainable forever I'm sorry to say - to get it in FFXIV 1.0 you had to link your FFXIV account with an existing FFXI Playonline Account, and so only those who got it back in 1.0 have it now.

As for a mount with winged shoes, there is something close to that in the form of the Nezha Chariot (bought on the Mogstation), so I presume that's the best you're going to get - although it's possible SE may add something like winged shoes as a mount, I doubt it.

I agree, Hermes shoes with little golden wings n the back and some epic music to match, maybe with an optional running stance so you can look like you are running on the air or over water if you angle it right. I have the chariot but this sounds way cooler.
