Terrible Lag, Unplayable Game

Entire game lags intermittently, actions pressed or clicked are not registering as pressed. Other PCs freeze in the game or slide around with no animations. The mobs and bosses freeze and do not register that they are having mechanics. People in my raids were disconnecting. I had my internet provider send maintenance out to check all my connections and replace my hardware. All other apps and websites are working fine, it is just FFXIV. I want a response. This has been happening several days and no one has heard anything from Square Enix about this issue. About 15 people I have talked to are having the same issue in different places in the US. Arizona, Ohio, California, Oregon, people in all those states have had issues. I am getting really angry and all I want is to hear something from Square that it is being worked on.

Try playing online games in Iraq and Afghanistan where action buttons took about half a minute to work.

If this is still happening when 5.5 comes out, this will be terrible for the hundreds who are having these same issues. It makes the game UNPLAYABLE.

I have Comcast, but I've made several calls to them and had everything checked on their end. So have several people I've been talking to... It seems like a Comcast issue but they can't find an issue

It's 100% a local ISP/Comcast/Layer3 routing problem.
I use Mozilla VPN to connect to Los Angeles and it works just fine.
It's a routing problem to SE's servers through whatever Layer3 network Comcast is using.
If you go around it, it works fine.

Just do a "Google" search for Mozilla VPN.
It guides you on how to use it....
After you get it installed, just select the "United States > Los Angeles" connection.
