At first glance through preliminary notes, I could tell this was going to be a good story/content patch. The fact that we've been raising crap repeatedly about Duels has at least gotten to the Developers and now we have a proper system to deal with Duels in particular.

Just reading that particular segment, it makes me feel like they thought hard on this one because they wanted to make sure people could get in and out without the RNG aspect; and I believe it'll pay off. However, this raises an old issue in regards to spawning the CEs necessary for Duels due to the 1h timer.

Given they are limiting CEs to 1 now for spawning, this means it'll take longer to cycle through an entire set of CEs; but the good thing is the amount of Coins and also REDUCING THE COOLDOWN ON CASTRUM.

If you're just there for the duels though, it's probably going to be problematic. I still think that in regards to Duels, the timer after the resolution of one is still too long. Plus, we still need to address the 20m timer inside the Duel itself - which is enough for at least 2 pulls of the boss. In all honesty, they have a system now - all they need to do is work on a fix to have the boss cycle through 3 people and then leave if the first and second die for their own progression.

I had suggested a while back that there be a buff that would assign you as viable for the Duel in particular if you met the requirements(NO VULNS/DEATHS), and I believe that would do quite well since they can make it as long as 20m for that specific encounter. 5.55 hopefully will come with something to adjust this and provide a more robust system that further reduces the stress people get when it comes to grinding Duels in particular.
