What have you tried so far to alleviate the issue? Additionally, are you playing on PC or on a PlayStation?

Dynratygus, Has someone at SE seen the other large (and growing quickly) threads on this page regarding this issue?Good afternoon and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums,

I haven't seen official responses on those.

Ok, I tried the Mozilla VPN solution. Not only did it not help, it made it worse. Much worse. It took 5 tries to click on the transporter in Prae to get it to work.
Will someone PLEASE post an IP for Leviathan so I can run a tracert?

Thank you so very much!

Finally able to run a tracert. I ran it a couple times and there is a consistent issue with the 8th hop:
1 12 ms <1 ms 3 ms 192.168.0.1
2 30 ms 7 ms 26 ms 10.147.0.1
3 9 ms 8 ms 8 ms 68.6.14.174

Can anyone tell me who's issue this is? It appears to be ntt which, according to the other threads, is SE's ISP as well as their server provider.
If I have it wrong, please let me know. I'm happy to make calls to Cox or make whatever changes I need to make here. I just need some direction.
Thank you all again!
Given what we've found out about the issue, it doesnt look like we will have a fix for this by patch day (which is awful timing considering this is the final patch of the expansion).
It looks to me like this is going to be another Raubahn EX, where the content comes out, but isnt playable until it's patched in another week or so.

@Babble I found that the Los Angeles VPN connection with Mozilla is working perfectly.
No packet loss and good pings.

I tried that exact solution yesterday and didn't see any improvement in performance. I was still rubberbanding a lot. I certainly would be uncomfortable running any challenging content even with the vpn running.
Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
We apologize for the delay in our response, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
- The game will use the Internet Explorer web browser to connect to the internet. Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
- Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
- Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
- Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
- Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
- Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
- Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
- Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"
-Make sure your fire wall or antivirus program is not interfering with the game
- Check to see if the following port ranges are opened on your router. You can contact your ISP and request they open them for you:
▼TCP
54992 through 54994,
55006 through 55007,
55021 through 55040
-Try disabling background applications and do a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the “Start up” tab. Disable everything and then restart the PC.
