Thread: I was issued a warning no info given. Thought our party finder issues were resolved?

Saturday night, I had a RP venue listing up in PF. Zero profanity was worded within it. I get pulled into GM jail and am issued a warning. The GM blatantly refuses to tell me WHY i am pulled into GM jail due to "privacy policy", I've submitted a petition to the warning given and not been given any correspondence. No profanity was said to any characters around me, or by me prior that night. I'm at an absolute loss as to why this happened other than the fact that it's related to our party finder issue.

Out of curiosity, what type of venue was it that was being advertised?

Are you sure you did absolutely nothing? Like maybe post a link to a parse in chat? Or admit to using third party software? Say a joke that could be offensive? If not and it's probably a PF thing, then I can only say I'm disappointed that this is still happening despite SE saying those who got issued punishment before should not have. Sigh.

If I was a rper I would just forget about using PF if we can't even trust any consistency among the enforcement in the rules.

And it's so stupid that you have to guess what you did wrong. How are people supposed to correct their behaviour if they have to guess???

Their refusal of notification: They're citing privacy policy forbidding them to do so. I honestly just want clarification on what the heck was done wrong. It was a night club venue. As stated prior, there was nothing lewd in the PF, no profanity, zero "shrewd conversations" with anyone by me.

Oh man please tell me they're finally doing something against the 18+ rp venues.

Thing is, even if they are, people deserve clear notification as to WHY action is taken against them.

First off, +1 to Carm's story. I spend a lot of time with them and I have genuinely never heard them say anything profane or even offensive in public. This makes this case extremely worrying, as they won't even tell her what she's done wrong.

Second off, if you don't like 18+ RP thats fine. I actually agree that 18+ RP should never be in public, and should be stuck to designated venues, along with 18+ content being done privately.

However, this isn't about 18+ RP, this is about someone getting hit with a GM penalty while doing nothing wrong, and not being told what they did wrong other than "3.3".

And honestly thats insane levels of harrassment and bullying if this is truly due to people just going to venues and spamming reports at the owners and staff regardless of wrongdoing.

GM Azilenmity, in short basically said: You messed up, not telling you why, get rekt.

When the 18+ activity isn't actively advertised, has to be sought out, and also has reconfirmation that both people are 18+ before anything happens in a completely private area, yes, I would consider ignoring 3 or more 18+ barriers and doing the RP alone with 2 people 'private'

EDIT: Also, for the Xth time, Carmilla wasn't doing anything 18+, she was just managing her venue and saying hello to people.
