Fps Issues

This has been happening to me for two days now...it was fine a week ago but now i cant even get to 60fps it keeps dropping to 15-10 and staying there making the game unstable for me and im a healer main in which i cant perform properly i needs help i tried everything and it still wont work

I have tried everything to fix from messing with the graphics settings in the game and all my drivers are updated. and it happened after it got updated and idk why

Does this issue occur if the game is running in windowed mode or borderless full screen? As to not recommend the she same trouble shooting, what have you tried so far? Additionally, does this issue occur if the drivers are rolled back?

it occurs in windowed borederless and full screen i got itto work fine yesterday but now its back to the way it was and i would like to solve this before 5.5 and endwalkers drop

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Have any changes happened to the device before the issue began? We would also like to recommend several other troubleshooting steps:

1) Make sure that your hardware is not overheating and remove any overclocks you may have on your graphics card or processor. Please check that any fans or vents are clear of blocks.
2) Disable any additional programs that could cause interference with the game itself including chat programs. Also, remove any custom configurations made using graphics driver-level programs
3) Remove any mods or injectors from the game or system
4) Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.
5) Remove any unnecessary USB or audio devices (controllers, headphones, flash drives etc.)
6) Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything

Hi Thayri
It's a known Problem occurred by the newest Nvidia Driver 465.89...
Not only FFXIV is affected, also many other games. Go to the Nvidia Forums for further Infos.
It could be a good solution if u uninstall the actual, newest Nvidia Driver with DDU and then
install the last stable driver 461...
