It looks like Im not the only person who is having issues with Comcast and FFXIV. Realistically, is there anything that can be done other than hope SE in NA notices that one of the top 3 ISP's in the country can't connect to their game?

Like I've been saying, it's something that has to be dealt with on Comcast's side of things. I'm sure SE has noticed, but I'm unsure of how they'll be able to fix this, other than try to force Comcast (which holds a monopoly in multiple areas and likely has cheaped out in some significant area) to do something. Comcast doesn't risk losing customers if they maintain the status-quo - so it could be a LONG WHILE before this gets fixed, or (as I've said in another thread) SE might provide a bandaid hotfix for this on or before patchday.
Edit: Comcast and NTT's side of things, not just comcast.
Same! Came back to FF14 in Sept/Oct 2020 & everything has been smoothe until tonight
Sucks even more bc this is my spring break week...
Please fix this SE or whatever communication you guys could give us. We cant play with this lag.. Im also a xfinity customer

Also been having packet loss/lag since yesterday. My sub is ending soon and I won't be re-upping unless there's a fix but it seems the mods just prefer to close the threads and ignore them.
Also on xfinity.

This sadly isn't an issue specifically with FF14 but one that they can possibly reach out to the correct people to fix. It's where comcast and NTT's network link up - So nothing you can do on the local side at your home and nothing comcast can specifically do because if you call for support, you get the call center folks who only follow script and send out a field tech to solve a problem that isn't there.
SE, this is specifically a problem starting between comcast and NTT I believe at their IP address of 129.250.5.25 - or one of the following after that. So far after running a few continuous pings and tracerts it's been one of the following locations:
37 ms 37 ms 39 ms ae-7.r25.dllstx09.us.bb.gin.ntt.net [129.250.5.25]
50 ms 51 ms 50 ms ae-2.r25.snjsca04.us.bb.gin.ntt.net [129.250.4.154]
50 ms 50 ms 50 ms ae-5.r24.snjsca04.us.bb.gin.ntt.net [129.250.3.146]
* 87 ms 85 ms ae-4.r00.scrmca02.us.bb.gin.ntt.net [129.250.7.57]
* 86 ms 88 ms xe-0-1-0-1-1.r00.scrmca02.us.ce.gin.ntt.net [192.80.16.2]
I say one of them because early on the night it was specifically the first of those. but as the night went on I found it seemed to move up the chain. And then later on around I want to say midnight to 1 AM EST it will likely resolve like it did the night before. This happened in early/mid 2020 as well.

Same issue here. Started 4/5/21 in the evening EST time zone. Was happening to my friends in group as well except one. Only exception is the one that wasn't getting lag does not have Comcast. Horrible issues tonight as well and we had to cancel our planned FC events. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Forgot to add server is Zalera though it seems to be happening on all servers. Going to have to log for the evening.

same for me as well. Although I start to experience tonight 4/6/2021 around 6 pm PST. I am also on Xfinity. Please help! I can not play at all now...
Ultros/Comcast, same issue, but it started today for me, at least as far as I can tell. Completely ruined our Kamuy farming for the night. What a bummer. I remember this happening several months ago, and in my mind it was weeks before the issue got fixed, but in reality maybe it was only several days? Been a while, but I remember it persisted for what felt like way too long to be acceptable.
Lamia/Comcast, same issue. Started yesterday evening Pacific but became okay today until, again, evening Pacific. Started happening during e12s reclear and thankfully got through it before the lag really started to make it unplayable. Did a couple rounds of PvP Frontline and it was not manageable. Unbearable packet loss with a lost connection here or there.
