After posting to the Xfinity forums along with others following up as well, I got to messaging someone from Comcast directly. The most recent response I received is this:

I appreciate the link! I've seen a few customers' message in this evening regarding the same issue, so I've been researching it on my end to figure out what we need to do to report this for you. I'll follow up with you as soon as I have an update, and truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. I haven't played FFXIV, but fully know how irritating it is to experience lag that makes a game unplayable. I appreciate your patience as well, and will touch base soon!

I've also been in touch with Comcast about it, and they specifically asked what game I was having issues with. They updated our ticket, and said someone from Advanced Repair might reach out for more info. We'll see what happens, I guess.
Definitely report it to Comcast/your ISP if possible. The more tickets/complaints about this issue, the better the chance they might actually address it (fingers crossed, anyway).
Nightly check-in. As usual, 7pm PDT and the lag has started with rubber banding.
Oh it must be 9CST because FFXIV has become unplayable.
Also having this issue. Also with Comcast. Located in Knoxville, TN and play on Siren.
Same problem as everyone else. Also on Comcast, in the Seattle area. I've tried some VPN's but they didn't work for me. The only thing that has worked is the Cloudflare program mentioned before. It always seems to happen at 7PM PST and then goes away around 11:30 PM - midnight PST.
Comcast, it's 7 PM, time for your unbearable and unplayable lag fest.
Yes honey...
Same problem, another country. For me, it started around 3pm PDT today.
A friend who's on Comcast in California sent this traceroute to me.

That 1093.20ms tho..
Not Comcast, but I do go through that wonderful ntt.net
My ISP hands off to Hurricane Electric, and on it goes through whatever twelve99 is, and to ntt. Every night, without fail, right around 8-9pm Central. But I been too lazy to look up my proper Balmung IP.
