    Xbox One Gamepad issues

    Hi everyone.

I play FFXIV on computer, and I've recently got a new Xbox One Controller to use with PC games, but I'm having some issues with FFXIV. If I use the controller via bluetooth the game recognize it as a general bluetooth controller, and I experience severe L stick drifting issues. But If I play wired, it recognize it as the Xbox One controller for Windows and I can play flawlessly. Of course, for me it would be better to play wireless, so here I'm asking: is anyone experiencing the same problems with a Xbox One controller?
I should also add that I've been playing without issues with Dualshock 4 and the DS4 software for a year.

Also, since I have the steam version of the game, I tried setting the controller from Steam Big Picture, but with weird results: if I "force" FFXIV to recognize my gamepad as the Xbox one, I see in System Configuration that the game thinks its the 360 controller (not the XONE as it says when I'm wired) and I can't calibrate it at all. It's just unresponsive.

Any help or suggestions on how to make the gamepad correctly recognizable in bluetooth would be appreciated. Thanks!

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We apologize that you are experiencing difficulties with your controller. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    - Try using a genuine Xbox360 or Xbox One controller (preferably wired) as these are compatible with Windows OS.
    - Try plugging the controller into different ports (both front and back).
    - Make sure all drivers for the controller are fully up to date.
    - Uninstall and reinstall the device drivers.
    - Disable all other device drivers, leaving the mouse, keyboard, and controller as the only active devices.
    - If you are using a specialized gaming keyboard, try using a different keyboard to ensure there are no conflicts between the devices.
    - Try unplugging all other devices and only plugging in the mouse, keyboard, and controller.
    - Make sure Windows has been fully updated from the Microsoft/Windows Update website.

    Thank you for your reply!

I'm already using a genuine Xbox One controller and, as I said, it works flawlessly when wired. It also looks like the drivers are up to date.
Following the other troubleshoot steps does not help, and I still can't make FFXIV detect it as an Xbox One Controller when wired
