    PLEASE FIX IT

The main problem I see is that FC housing and Private housing should be different. Private housing is a luxury that no one technically needs. It's a nice feature and cool status, helpful but ultimately unnecessary. But FC housing has features and game play locked behind it, so the FC cannot progress until they get a house. Wasting months waiting makes the game become stagnant and frustrating for the FC members. This is a big reason why people camp wasting a different kind of their time.

I understand why the housing system alone makes people rage quit this game.

Ironically Housing was originally intended to be FC only but they opened it up to the general public because the wards were dead and empty wastelands.

2 reasons for this being A housing was expensive but that was kinda the point. and B MOst free companies didn't last long enough to ever manage to buy one. this game is heavily lacking in social connections and actual player bonds on anything more than the most superficial level. as a result very few FCs ever survivved long enough or even made it to the rank required to purchase land in the first place. which lead to dead and abandoned wards. so in a bid to populate them they opened housing up to personal players.

one thing of note though is there are houses available. many servers have literally hundreds of empty plots scsattered around. the problem is the way players all try and congest onto the same 2 or 3 highly crowded servers. what they need to do is up theincentives for people to transfer. as the EXP boost they used to offer isnt an incentive to people that are already level 80 as its useless to them.

other issues include the horrendous mess that is the tenancy system. the lack of functionality for appartments and the demo system itself.

if appartments had access to workshops or gardening allottments. many of those houses that sit there empty becuase the owner only ever uses the garden for growing seeds could be freed up if appartmentsgranted that functionality. samegoes with workshops..

tenancy is busted because tenants haven o rights or powers. which then makes players who would happiliy share a house reluctant to do so because the house is innevitibly tied to one persons sub and if that person takes a break for a month your house goes bye bye even if you use it every day... so in stread of 3-4 people sharing 1 ouse those same 3-4 people have 3-4 houses. if they fixed tenency and plot sharing a lot of plots would open up for other players.

you fix these 2 systems and you'll go a long way to fixing the housing problem. doing stuff like a lottery system doesnt fix a damn thing though. as players will still just get super frustrated when they never win..
