Command: /legacy

MMORPGs are a great chance for you to role-play and the larger variety of characters you have available, the more you can enjoy the role-play aspect, in my opinion. ^^

I think it would be nice if you could utilize a command like GuidWars and a few others to unlock account based things, such as Goobbue. That way you can at least enjoy some things across characters.

I've dropped items before that I didn't need in that game but decided one day to get them again. So /bonus1 got them all back at once.

I would like that myself especially since they are going to let us have more characters in 2.0 as legacy members.

I know I am planning on leveling up a brand new character in 2.0 so I can experience the new version from the beginning and it would be nice to be able to have any and all the legacy items on the new character as well.

Besides, it is not Yelta or Pyretta that is the one being rewarded for sticking out the 1.x version, it is me, the account holder.

Other players will get the ability to do this too, but they're paying an extra $5/mo. to get that capability.

Yeah, in a game where you can be anything you want anytime, this is the only real reason to use another character, other than a change of racial aesthetic scenery.

There could also be a limit on max crafting level's; so even more reason possibly

I'm one with multiple characters and back in the day it actually wasn't too bad of an idea to have multiples. Experience points didn't grow on trees back then and it was cool to have characters with their own leve-pools.

Also it's nice to be out mining and hear the LS call and be able to switch and help them and log back when done and be right back in the mining.

But anyway, I've said before that it would be nice if achievements were tied to my account instead of my character. Like the chronicler's crown will forever be out of my reach because i've got all my battle classes on one character and all my crafting classes on another.

I was shot down big-time with this idea because people didn't want to see multiple-character accounts given any special treatment. So I'm going to be bitter and say no to this. :P

Nope. I can't see the devs touching anything related limiting a player's experience ever again.

I too would like to see all legacy perks we have obtained on our pre 2.0 characters available to characters created on the same account post 2.0.

I would like them to make it so goobbue and things are locked to the account cos of this, or have an npc legacy members can talk to to get the goobbue on another character.

I will probably level a second character with my friends waiting on ps3 release now I can.
