PS4 R2 hotbar trigger causes character to walk to the left

Today I noticed that I had a technical issue as sometimes when triggering the R2 hotbar, the character interrupted spells and started walking to the left. This does not happen with L2 tho. I'm not sure what the problem is as since yesterday it was all fine, just from this morning the trigger started to be a bit funny. This happens inside any instance as it happened during a E9 and inside BA

The ps4's triggers and analog sticks basically trigger the same place in the controller's board (forgive me I'm too tired to recall terminology). This is a problem I've had with a few ps4 controllers, best you can do is adjust the stick's deadzone for a temporary fix.

Thanks a lot! Sounds like this is a hardware prob with the controller itself then. It's probably safer and quicker to just buy a new one i suppose.
