If it's like anything else, the code should be inside the casing or on the back of the label itself. It's not hard to put 2 and 2 together there even when everything's in japanese. If it's a set of numbers and letters amounting in the required amount to enter a code, then it's the right code. Beyond that...I thought they always sent what amounted to a japanese import. Every FF XIV soundtrack I ever ordered came with a japanese label, and my PC was able to recognize the songs just fine after downloading it from its designated link.
This is normal. All SE albums/OSTs for FFXIV are Japanese imports.
The code for the orchestrion rolls should either be on the inside of the obi (the small slip of paper present over the CD spine) or on an insert sheet within the music booklet. Usually album codes are found on the obi.
To access the music, all you should need to do is insert the disk into a BLU-Ray player. The player will recognize the disk and should load the music for you. It should also provide a link for you to access to download the music on another device. For me, I use my PS4 and then use the provided link to download the songs onto my PC.

the code is on that small flap that looks like it should cover cd case bindings
it also too me a while to find
I searched the SE store and only found this :
https://store.eu.square-enix-games.c...ray-disc-music
Is this what you purchased ?
It does say this on that page
"*Please note that this is a Japanese import disc."
I got the album as well. The code is in that small piece of paper packaging around the spine of the box before you open it, the code is hidden on the underside, it is not on the outside part you see before you unwrap it. The code is obvious when you see it, it's a series of numbers and upper case letters. It's in a white box on a black background.
My ps4 automatically put the disc menus in english for me but maybe it's because Sony put in something that would match the disc language to the language of the console, which wouldn't be surprising given the game is also on ps4. I don't know if other blu-ray drives would do this. I think I did see a menu section about changing the language displayed but I'm not sure.
Perhaps that is not the case, but my Before Meteor came without the little slip (back when it was supposed to come with minion). I contacted the suport, provided the picture of what came with CD and they game me the code.
