There's a difference between "not enough content I personally like" and having content you personally like removed from the game or go completely unsupported. While they will obviously want more content that they personally like, it's obviously not realistic to get too much of that because development takes a lot of work and time. Of course it's going to be even less content that they personally like in this MMO, because it tries to make a smaller amount of content but for all sorts of different interests be it RP, PvP, casual content and high-end content.
What I've personally done is tried to enjoy the content I wouldn't normally try and it's fun enough for me. To really be satisfied with the game I think you just have to try to enjoy everything the game has to offer even if you wouldn't normally do it. For me it's about the experience. I'll sail boats fishing things, play music to a retired bard, embark on a building career and then occasionally defeat giant beasts that threaten the world.
