Men's Fashion for women in game

OK so there is probably a thread for this already but i wanted to put in my two cents. If a male character can wear a dang wedding dress why can i a girl wear the riveria vest or the Boulevardier's ruffled shirt? if they can wear the bunny stuff why can't i wear the Aymeric stuff? i know it takes coding and time but dang ya'll this isnt that hard if they can do it for the guys then they can do it for the girls.

I always thought that gender locking outfits was a bad idea, even if the end result makes me want to gouge out my eyes with a wooden spoon. More customization is never a bad thing in an MMO.

I'm still sad that I can't have 9S outfit but the guys can get 2B's dress. :/
I really like his outfit and not a huge fan of 2B's so I feel ya a bit lol.

I completely agree. I love the Boulevardier's Ruffled Shirt but hate that its a mens only top. there are so many items that i would love to have but cannot because im playing a female character. i wish they would change it.

Eh, I like the gender lock when it comes to gear. It ensures that there isn't an excess of gear designed to be overly feminine or androgynous which is exactly the problem hairstyles have come to have on many fronts ever since they were unlocked and made 'unisex'.

I know that on some items they tossed the gender locking aspect (wedding gear for example), but on 'older stuff' they havent gotten to it or wont. There is also the complication that some gear, while equippable by both sexes, changes appearance based on sex.

Yeah theres this aspect too. No gender lock means theyll favor androgynous gear for easier development.

This is a fair assessment, much as I may want certain glams for my Roe. I could certainly see them getting lazier with designs if this were the case.

(They would need to be added to the mesh, and likely SE's Male and Japanese developers haven't thought it was important enough to assign an artist too)
