[Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass.] Seriously, I have no desire to have chat bubbles cluttering up my screen. There is already going to be an absurd level of screen clutter with the new UI, we don't need more.

Optional chat bubbles would be nice. For some conversations at least, I get to look at the character speaking rather than diverting the eyes to the chatbox, though minor.

Off by default if using the FF14 classic interface.

I love options, as others have pointed out. I would turn it on for me, but I wouldn't want anyone else to have them if they didn't want them.
