What "classic" Final Fantasy Bone Armor are you referring to? Or any of the others, for that matter?

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
Bone armor is a type of heavy armor in alot of final fantasys, there is also diamond armor gold armor (the list is long) for heavy types
Then you got mystic srmor for mages
For leather pirate, windbreaker, gigas, name a few.
Id have to dig up a full list but they in alot of ffs almost all that had full armor

Now bone armor is my fav but it was more less classic but still

The only bone armor I know about was in FFV, and it was just a body piece that basically gave your character the undead status, allowing them to heal HP when hit with drain attacks and deal higher damage to certain monster types. It didn't have a cosmetic value.Bone armor is a type of heavy armor in alot of final fantasys, there is also diamond armor gold armor (the list is long) for heavy types

Diamond Armor is already in the game. It comes from Sigmascape Savage.

Also missing the gi and many leathers..The only bone armor I know about was in FFV, and it was just a body piece that basically gave your character the undead status, allowing them to heal HP when hit with drain attacks and deal higher damage to certain monster types. Level 60 Primal-style armours are somewhat elemental themed (based on the element of the relevant Primal), although they don't glow (like the Inferno set for tanks).
Really though, the FF series often picks and chooses what concepts and elements it uses between games so a weapon or piece of gear that shows up in several games, may suddennly then disappear in later titles, and it's the case here.
Also since level 50 SE seem to be putting gear into unified themes based on role rather than having individual pieces per class, so I don't think you'll see the likes of bone armour return (bone armour in past FF games was usually pretty low level - in FFXI for instance it was a level 10ish harness set) so if it does show up, expect it to be purely cosmetic at level 1 with no stats, as that seems to be where 'individual' style armours is being designed for, as purely glamour.
