Changing drivers seat in multi-seated mounts?,

Im sure this comes up from time to time among players. But I would like to change the seat I'm using in my own multi seated mounts.
Specifically, would like to switch seats in my Chocobo carriage so I'm not the one driving, unfortunately, after buying such an expensive mount I find out that there's nothing I can do but chauffeur other people around. I'm not the happiest about that..
I don't want to give other people the ability to drive my mount, just like they appear so.

To be honest, my intentions are purely RP, I would like to sit in my own carriage while flying it just feels safer that way. this game is great I hope they can change this somehow ??

Sadly probably won't happen. Funnily enough, even the store page for the mount notes that you can't ride, you gotta drive.

Probably because it wouldn't make sense for a couple of multi-seater mounts.

Like look at the Regalia or the Skyslipper. How would they steer and function if you could switch yourself away from the controls?
While it is unfortunate for you, to echo stepjam, it's pretty much guaranteed it'll never be a feature. In the future, it's advisable to fully research & ask questions in-game about what you're purchasing before you sink money into it so you know exactly what you'll be getting. A couple youtube channels make sure to do mount spotlights whenever something new gets uploaded to the mogstation.

Well then there's plan B. Start a chocobo taxi to bring newer players/characters to aetherites quickly an easily haha.

Perhaps if not changing the schematic maybe they can give the purchasers a "second mount" with the owner sitting in in carriage instead.. Sitting in the carriage doesn't not make sense. Besides it's final fantasy unrealistic things are realistic. Any way I can get there attention on this suggestion?

Ooh, I think this is a good idea for a future mount. An airship would be awesome, especially piloted by a mammet!<3 If it had the ability for players to move around too, that would be better again, but still. I'd buy it (eventually. In a sale. Those multi-seater things are not cheap!).

Thats genius n you can sit safe n sound in your carriage without fear if falling lol I honestly feel a little on edge while flying that thing around
