I'm sorry, but if someone's idea of an interesting game is to log in, go to gangos and wait 50 minutes for CLL, then wait another 5 minutes to not be "picked", they are having a lend of me. At least stop recruitment when you get to 48.



I usually like the relic quests. All this one is an exercise in WAITING. I've lost count of the hours I have wasted logged in unable to do required content. It's an insult.


And don't tell me I can run Syrcus tower another 15 times when I've already done it 500 times. Not good enough either.


The relic is about the only new content left, and they have turned it into impossible drudgery.

I feel like Eureka had much more waiting around than the current weapon.

Eureka was more fun on some parts.... i kinda miss it - and most importantly you got passively stronger due your level - while now you need rng locked consumables to feel even a bit stronger from leveling.

And yes i feel you. Even worse the weapons literally are mostly pointless... and no, being BiS at patch X.5.5.5.5 is a joke.

Run crystal tower then, it's what I do.
Select all 3 to get some variation.

The only "fix" for castrum I see is to treat it like delubrum and give it a direct qeue option

Relic has always been very grindy, if it was easy to do then everyone would have one.

OP, are you literally waiting around for 50 min for CLL to pop, or are you at least doing the other CEs in the meantime? Since those can drop loathsome memories as well.

As I understand it the system is weighted to NOT pick people that are just waiting for the pop.
It prioritizes players that have been engaging with mobs and Fates because the devs weren't happy to see so much AFKing in Eureka.

That would actually be interesting to confirm. As I can say I've had about a 10 min period of no C.E's, waiting around and even use the priority buff. Joined CLL as 5/48, number ended up on 65/48, and I *still* didn't get. So I could fathom what you're saying, and will note for the future.

I do agree with OP though that I truly did not enjoy waiting on CLL to be done 3 times, with it's 60 mins since completion of FATE, and not having any time reference.... was BS.

I've done 2 Relics, and refuse to do anymore.

They stated before this content was even released that the people who are participating in the fates and the CE or even just killing random mobs would have priority over those not doing anything because they wanted to prevent what happened in Eureka. And the more you participate the more likely you are to be chosen. All CE work this way, not just CLL, because of the participation limits.

So if you are waiting at the aetheryte for CLL to pop, queueing and not getting in, you found your reason. Even if you are first to queue, you will be set to last in the priority list. Just run around and participate in fates enough to get gold rating and you should get in without a problem.
