It's so useful for raiding. Why does QoL raiding stuff have to be barred behind casual content like crafting?

We're heading into 6.0 where the level cap is going to be 90. Does square actually expect us to level our crafters on raiding alts to cap -10?
Are you telling us that you have to repair your gear on your raiding alt mid content? That can only mean you wiped over and over again so the gear broke.

I expect you progress the content on your main? Why do you wipe on the alt then? I thought you were a hardcore raider, triple legend and all.

A casual re-mention your gear literally cannot lose durability inside of an instance anymore. The game calculates how much you lose, and applies it when you are out of the instance, rather than damaging your stuff inside. That was done to prevent players gear from breaking part way in an instance, meaning for someone to have broken gear in there, it had to be completely broken before going in, and on top of that, they had to ignore the nice big warning that their stuff was broken when they queue'd up.

Which, I mean, I'd think a raider would know this, as they would read the patch notes, yes?
