    Since you can buy adventure toon levels, I don't think the OP is off base here.

    Despite the fact that I have almost all crafters/gatherers who are higher level than my highest combat job. In fact, it's annoying the heck out of me that I can't gather in areas that my highest combat job doesn't have access to.

    I guess I could buy a combat job to fix that?
