    No recent changes before the issue began. Last night I did an optional Windows update that was available for me so I'll see if that made any difference.

    Some combination of new CPU cooler, new exhaust fans, and switching the PSI port my GPU is plugged into appears to have solved my problems. I'll give it another day but it seems like the issue is no longer occurring.
