Is the doman donation basket able to go above 40k?

For those of you who use and know what I am talking about I am trying to figure out if, once you are done all the donation quests, it can go above 40k.

Some people have told me it can go as high as 200k for turn ins, but the console wiki seems to state it caps out at 40k.

Is the people I spoke with in game liars or do I have to donate large amounts (go over the cap) repeatedly?

It's capped at 40k every week. Going over the limit before the 40k will only give you a net loss of whatever the difference is between the 40k cap and what you're donating. You'll get a warning whenever you try to do this, as that gil will just go poof.

Bear in mind, buying back stuff will not roll back any stuff for gil you donated toward the total. So yes, the Wiki is correct.

It's a hard cap at 40k. Anyone who thinks it will go up to 200k is not paying attention.

It does go up to 200 percent payback value on the items, though.

It's capped at 40,000. It's easy to misunderstand it if you don't read it properly, because it will let you donate something worth 200,000, it's just that you will only get 40,000 back and completely lose the rest.
